HEAD AND BODY


--with white, ch 2.


Round 1: work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook


Round 2: *2 sc in each sc around* [12 sts.]


Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st* repeat around [18 sts.]


Rounds 4-9: sc 18


Round 10: * 2 sc in each of the next 6 st*, sc in in next 12 st [24 sts.]

--I recommend putting the eyes in now. I put them in between rows 3 and 4.


Rounds 11-16: sc 24


Round 17: *dec 1, sc 1* repeat around [16 sts.]


--At this point make sure he's stuff. I overstuffed him a bit but it's up to you.


Round 18: *dec* 8 times. [8 sts.]


--Dec. all until closed



SNOUT AND NOSE


--with white, ch 2


Round 1: work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook


Round 2: *2 sc in each sc around* [12 sts.]


Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 st* repeat around [16 sts.]


Rounds 4-7: sc 16


--bind off leaving a long enough tail to stitch into head



--with black, ch 2


Round 1: work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook


Round 2: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st* repeat around [9 sts.]


--bind off leaving a tail and sew into snout, fill snout with stuffing and sew to face






EARS


--with white, ch 2.


Round 1: work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook


Rounds 2-3: sc 6


--bind off, leave a long enough tail to sew into head






ARMS


--with white, ch 2.


Round 1: work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook


Rounds 2-5: sc 6


--no need to stuff arms, bind off, leave a long enough tail to sew into body






LEGS


--with white, ch 2.


Round 1: work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook


Round 2: *2 sc in each sc around* [12 sts.]


Round 3: *dec 3 times* then sc in next 6 st. [9 sts.]


Rounds 4-5 : 9sc


--bind off, fill with stuffing, leave a long enough tail to sew into body


--with black thread, sew in toe detail






ACCENTS


Tail


--with white, ch 4, sc in 2nd, 3rd and 4th chain from hook, bind off, leaving a tail to sew into body



Fingers


--with white, chain 2, sc in 2nd chain from hook, chain 2, sc in 2nd chain from hook, chain 2, sc in 2nd chain from hook (do two). Leave a tail and sew onto end of arms.

Collar


--with red, make a chain long enough to go around neck, sew together.

Tag


--with yellow, ch 2, work 4 sc in 2nd chain from hook, then bind off and leave a tail for sewing


-- I sewed a little black strand into the body under the collar and then the tag on top of it.
